This website is run by Hedleyhope Parish Council. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

Key Accessibility Features:
- We have provided an “Accessibility Widget” providing a number of useful accessibility tools, such as adjusting the font size, line height, contrast etc.
- Keyboard navigation is enabled for those who struggle with using a mouse or touchpad. By using a combination of the “tab” key, the “enter key” and the “page up arrow” and “page down arrow” keys, Users can navigate the website via the keyboard only.

The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services.
We are aware that some PDFs relating to the Annual Governance and Accountability Return which require a ‘wet’ signature are not accessible. Copies in other formats can be obtained by contacting the Clerk.
What we’re doing to improve accessibility:
We will seek to resolve any issues identified in accessing content on our website. Regular testing will be carried out and updates will be made to ensure that the website complies with current regulations. We will ensure that any new content added, including any PDFs or Word documents, meets accessibility standards.
